Quality Hydraulics & Pneumatics, Inc. is seeking a motivated candidate for an Outside Sales position in Western Iowa. This role is responsible for developing customer relationships and growing sales of fluid power and motion control products throughout the territory.

Quality Hydraulics and Pneumatics, Inc is a fluid power distributor serving the Midwest. Our customer base consists of a mix of both OEM and MRO customers. We work with companies to help develop unique solutions to improve their processes and designs. We are an over 30 year old, financially solid company that is committed to growth.

Requirements

• 2 year technical or 4 year degree in Fluid Power or
• FPS Fluid Power Certification or
• A proven sales track record with a technical aptitude
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal skills
• Willingness and ability to learn

As a territory manager your responsibilities will include:

• Working with the sales team to help set strategic direction
• Develop and work a territory sales plan
• Develop relationships and work with the current customer base
• Work with the current customer base and prospective customers to identify and fulfill opportunities to improve their products, processes, and improve their bottom line
• Prepare customer proposals, quotations, and correspondence
• Following up on quotes generated through customer service
• Work the territory plan with supplier support personnel
• Work with the sales team to improve the sales process to help all work to their potential
• Utilize technology to sell remotely from the home office while in the inside sales/training phase
